Martin Fleischmann has been playing the accordion since early school days. A former member of Arís, he has appeared as guest musician with HiBernia, Swirish and the Keltones. At present, he also plays with Toe for Toe. A visit to Noel Hill’s winter workshop in Ballyvaughan has had a strong influence on his playing of Irish music on the box. Martin now lives in Spiez. That’s bad news for the citizens of his native town, Winterthur, who can no longer enjoy his music there drochscéalta!
